Social media platforms are forever changing the image sizes and formats, so to keep you all updated here’s the social media image sizes cheat sheet for 2017.
Cover Photo
– Appear on page at 828 x 315 pixels
– Minimum size of 399 x 150 pixels
– For best results, upload an RGB JPG file less than 100KB.
– Image with a logo or text may be best as a PNG file.
Profile Photo
– Must be a least 180 x 180 pixels
– Photo will appear on page as 160 x 160 pixels
– Photo thumbnail will appear as 32 x 32 pixels

Banner Size: 1,200 x 628 pixels
Text: 90 characters
Headline: 25 characters
Link description: 30 characters
Facebook Carousel
Banner Size: 1,080 x 1,080 pixels
Text: 90 characters
Headline: 40 characters
Link description: 20 characters

Video must maintain a 16:9 aspect ratio
In order to quality as full HD, the dimensions must be at least 1280 x 720 pixels
